In my artistic path I want to find out who I am beyond my perfectionism to create things that are genuine to me and that I find beautiful. Through crafting I want to connect with others of similar and diverse passions to experience and to share experience. In theatre work I enjoy detailed projects that require focus and precision, expanding my expertise and stretching my ability. I value the collaboration of ideas and expressions that bring characters to life for an audience.
In cosplay I am compelled to learn new mediums to craft or recreate objects that draw my admiration.I work with fabric, leather, thermoplastic, paint or whatever the material that feels true to the project. What excites me about cosplay is connecting with characters on a tangible level, stepping into the shoes of my heroes and wearing the cloth of fantastical creatures. It can transport you in a way that simply consuming media cannot. To achieve this means going beyond the obvious, to study the story of the character through the objects that adorn them, and to do all possible to bring it into reality.
Whether assisting in a collaboration, creating pieces for commission, or my personal cosplay I enjoy learning and sharing crafting experiences to make unique and beautiful works.
